Promotion to Training Manager - Charlie Withers

We’d delighted to announce that one of our trainers, Charlie Withers, has been promoted to the role of Training Manager thanks to funding from KeyFund!

Charlie Withers, our new Training Manager

Charlie has been a valued member of the team for a couple of years now, showcasing her training skills and completing her university course in Canine Behaviour along the way! Her background knowledge and practical skills are invaluable, enabling her to train our dogs to have the skills to change the lives of our autistic clients.

A big thank you to KeyFund for facilitating these exciting progressions to our Training Team!

In her new role, she will manage her team to assess and train all of our specialist dogs! The funding kindly awarded to us by KeyFund has allowed us to further grow Charlie’s team, including a promotion to Trainer and two Trainee Trainers! We can’t wait to see what the team goes on to achieve!

One of our Founders and Managing Director, Andrew Preston, says: “Charlie has shown great enthusiasm and passion in working with our Autism Assistance Dogs and our other trainers. Her leadership skills and ability to adapt quickly to training schedules and technical improvement warranted a formal recognition and advancement of her role.

“We are looking forward to advancing all of our skills over the next year, and I thank Charlie for her continued support to our organisation”
