Gain invaluable experience while helping to change the lives of others
As a charity, we provide amazing opportunities to volunteer alongside our highly-motivated team in a variety of different areas. While volunteering with us, you will gain invaluable experience while helping to change the lives of others.
All of our volunteering opportunities are under the guidance of our trained staff, to help your time with us be fun, safe, and a great experience! These volunteering opportunities are usually based around our farm in Congleton, Cheshire; you aren’t paid for your time as a volunteer, but you may get money to cover expenses for travel.
Volunteering with our Animal Care team
Through this fantastic volunteering opportunity, you would gain practical experience working with dogs and learning about animal welfare, as well as gaining understanding about autism and how our Assistance Dogs help their handlers.

Volunteering opportunities are initially offered for 1-2 days a week over a 10-week period. All volunteers will be issued with a certificate of contribution after successfully completing the volunteering experience.
Applicants must be 16 years old or over, live within reasonable travelling distance of Congleton, and have some experience with dogs.

Volunteer as a Trustee
Autism Dogs Charity is currently looking to expand their knowledge base by appointing some new trustees! If you are an animal lover who is passionate about changing the lives of autistic people, how about considering becoming a part of our Board of Trustees?
Currently we are looking to recruit trustees that specialise in Marketing and Fundraising! If you are skilled in either of these areas and are interested in joining a team with a dedication for both caring for our dogs and transforming the lives of autistic people, please get in touch.
Email us at abigail.autismdogs@gmail.com for further information.
